Model Touch Up
The objective of this project was to photograph a person and then digitally touch up the photo by removing blemishes, smoothing skin, and applying makeup. To begin, I took some photos of my sister, instructing her on how to pose and trying out different angles. I then selected the best photo and made some minor edits to it using Lightroom Classic; adjusting the highlights, shadows, and white balance. After that, I was ready to begin the real touch-up process. Working non-destructively in Photoshop, I slowly and carefully removed flyaway hairs and imperfections, smoothed the skin, and softened harsh shadows. To complete the look, I used brushes, adjustment layers, and other tools to apply realistic-looking lipstick, mascara, and eyeshadow. I used a Canon EOS 80D camera, Adobe Lightroom Classic, and Adobe Photoshop to complete this project.
