Product Repackaging

The objective of this project was to collaborate with a classmate to redesign the packaging of a product of our choosing. My classmate and I chose to redesign a small dollar store candle, which came in a paper box. We began by researching similar packaging and brainstorming ideas, then we each came up with one fleshed out solution. We gave each other feedback, made adjustments accordingly, and then decided whose design we would go forward with. We ultimately chose my classmate’s, due to its beautiful illustration. Finally, we worked together to make some final minor edits and created both a digital and physical mockup. I used Adobe Illustrator to complete this project.
